Jacob's Ladder is an Original Contemporary Abstract Painting by Kathy Kubay. The artwork is double resin coated! Which means the painting is done in two parts and has two separate layers, so it appears to be 3 dimensional in nature.

This painting is inspired by the journey we are on through life, from the time we are born, we walk through the lush greens of life and through the sun, forrest, and sometimes the fog. The flames burn at our feet at times, as we try to navigate our way. Until we come to the end of our paths. Where the light meets the blue sky and our journey continues onto another crossing, through one immense explosion, then we are gone on our ways - someplace immense.
