This original golden oak wood wall mask is one of the latest elaborate carving artworks of the talented contemporary Bulgarian professional sculptor Sava Draganov, deeply inspired by postmodernism, cubism and folk art. It is one extraordinary wood masterpiece and exquisite home wall décor.

The ancient Mayans worshipped different gods and goddesses, who were playing an important role in all aspects of life. Ixchel is Jaguar goddess of midwifery, medicine and childbirth. In a similar parallel, Ix Chel corresponds, to Toci Yoalticitl "Our Grandmother the Nocturnal Physician", an Aztec earth Goddess inhabiting the sweatbath, and is related to another Aztec Goddess invoked at birth, Cihuacoatl (or Ilamatecuhtli).
