Original artwork description:

I have had a fascination with this ivy, which grows in a pot on our windowledge, for a while, and felt keen to immortalise it in paint! In particular I love the bold variations in colour, which happens in little patches across the leaves. There's a real charm to that and it was interesting to look closely at the plant simply because of that. I've never painted ivy before, and I am not sure I will again, so this is likely to be a one off!

Signed on the front and varnished.
