I had just hung a Flowery Tablescape on my Kitchen Wall, when I decided to do a quieter, calmer Companion. Well, the Tablescape sold just as I was finishing this one. Anyway, the concept of “being quiet”, or “quieted” based on some things going on right now in America, inspired me to paint this. The edges of the canvas are painted so it can be hung, unframed.
