This image was made from a ferry travelling south down Lake Garda. Italy was in the grip of a heatwave whilst we were there, but on this day the weather gods decided it was time to let loose....just when we had nowhere to hide.

Personally, I was happy as a clam; after several days of non-stop blue skies it was fabulous to see the turmoil brewing in the skies, even if my companions were less than impressed at the drenching we subsequently endured.

I loved the contrast of the lakeside town, set against the massive mountain backdrops along both shores of the lake.

Limited Edition prints are printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl 285gsm paper, a premium quality, acid- and lignin-free paper. FineArt Pearl paper has a similar foundation to that used in the past in traditional silver fibre prints. Its premium formulation allows for high image definition, deep blacks and outstanding reproduction of colour and detail.

Prints are on A2 paper size, each in an edition of 20, plus 1 Artist’s Proof. The image is printed full frame onto the standard sized A2 sheet. The actual print will have a border around the sides and top to allow for framing.
