"Ask not for whom the bell tolls"....... Well this is not an exactly accurate quote, and contrary to popular opinion, it did not originate with Ernest Hemmingway. In addition to that, the phrase is not a reference to one's own mortality. I won't elaborate further, but it is easy and fun to research the phrase on the internet.
"It tolls for Thee" is a one of a kind, original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil Dura-Lar artist mylar film. This painting utilizes very heavy (impasto) texture to emphasize the type of rugged man that Hemmingway was.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
. This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on tempered masonite with a two inch wide painted border. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.

For my overseas customers, I will send the artwork “rolled in a tube”. The extra cost of shipping large, flat packages, combined with the added susceptibility for damage, makes it more sensible to ship the safer way, in a tube. Contact me for a total adjusted price.
