Original artwork description:

Ain't Easy Being a Muse is an original artwork, painted with acrylic paints and marble powder. This humorous artwork is about a giraffe lady posing in an awkward position attempting to copy Picassos' cubism woman's pose, while trying to look effortlessly cool.

In this anthropomorphic artwork I'm exploring the contemporary social issues and portraying them with humor and understanding. My humorous approach allows me to break into the world of social change. Humor resonates with audiences and creates a gateway to increased understanding of complex issues.

The sides of the canvas are painted and it's ready to hang. I always use 1.5" thick gallery wrapped cotton canvas for its durability and its 3D effect. The canvas is stretched over high quality pine wood frames and stapled on the back providing a clean finish on the sides. Since the sides are painted, the painting can be left unframed for the contemporary look.
