I have often painted this isolated group of trees in the Winter. Here is a painting of them made in the late Summer of 2020. I wanted to communicate the hot warm colours of Summer, and the vibrant sky.
The fields are of barley are ready to be cropped, and ploughed up again for the next crop.

This is painted with Oil paint on canvas, my preferred medium, with quite thick paint. It is quite a vibrant painting and will be quite commanding in a room.
