This is a large landscape painting on stretched canvas depicting an Isolated boat in the form of an abstract in the middle of the lake. The boat symbolizes emptiness, a part that has been missing from my life. This artwork was created with acrylic and oil with texturing paste with various techniques including a palette knife. Most of my artworks are spontaneous acts of creativity inspired by nature. I never plan my artworks. They are created based on my mood, emotions, and energy level. This painting is dedicated to my father who just passed away 2 weeks ago. I like to look at the night sky and think that he is in a better and peaceful place now I just paint how I feel it. I never approach painting with a starting point. As I continue to work on the artwork and go deeper and deeper, the painting evolves and the idea gets clearer. I get so consumed in the painting process that I lose myself and forget about the realities of this world. I don't know where the end is and I never plan when to stop. Finally, I get the feeling of satisfaction, I stare at the painting and my mind connects with the painting and the story behind it. This is the process I go through when I paint. Sometimes it is very mind-exhausting because I lose myself in it. It feels like hypnosis that my mind goes into and I don't have control over it. This artwork comes ready to hang on a stretched canvas.
Framing is not required. The frames in the pictures are not included and are for display purposes only.
