Words and expression.
The Purbeck hills depending on the light are often this amazing colour. I have to explore this area of Dorset often as the colours and landscape give me so much inspiration to paint it.
Original impressionist watercolour on extra rough textured watercolour paper bockingford 425 gsm 200 lb.
To create the atmospheric glow I wet the paper and used a very pale wash of pale yellow ochre, apricot and mint green.
