Original artwork description:

Continuing my 'powerful places ' series of paintings. This painting draws on my memories of the stunningly beautiful Isle of Ghaia in the Southern Herbides. The Caledonian Ferry takes you to this strangely tropical paradise with silver white beaches and clear turquoise waters. I did not know that such places existed in the UK.

This painting incorporates my characteristic use of reflective paints. I have incorporated a range of sumptuous 'Golden' paints, ultramarine blue, phthalo blue and iridescent pearl to attempt to capture the shimmering light.

Created on a 380g high quality, deep box canvas, painted white on the sides, so you may choose not to frame. However I believe that a plain white frame would be beneficial. Initialled on the front and signed on the back and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

Corded and ready to hang.

I will only charge what the maximum of what the shipping costs state and if it is less than my shipping charges state then I will always refund the difference.
