Lake Maggiore is one of the lakes in northern Italy. It's my favourite because of its islands. There are three of them in the middle of the lake: Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori and Isola Madre. Each of them has its own particular character but they have one thing in common - they are absolutely beautiful! Little gems.
This little painting represented the island I could see one misty morning from my hotel.
I have painted the canvas borders grey so if you prefer not to frame it can be hung immediately with velcro strips (enclosed)
