⠀ Ukraine, Zhytomyr region., Staryi Solotvin village.
my work "Island of love" (Budynochok) was created in 2015 and is a kind of symbol of my peace-loving country Ukraine
Island was created artificially in 1970 in the backwaters of the Kodynka river, young couples were transported to the island by boat, where they were photographed among a birch grove that was specially planted on an island, and was named "Island of Love"
later in the period from 1984 to 1985 on the island they decided to build a small house in which local hunters and fishermen gathered, they also built a small wooden bridge so that they could get to the island. And became known as "fisherman's and hunter's hut " and was used as a place where exposed trophies
Now, after my shot brought wide popularity to this location, excursions began to take place here, this is really a unique place that I managed to shoot exactly as I wanted, thick fog that helped to hide the rural shores and houses in the background and turned yellow on birch leaves helped to convey the atmosphere of the fabulousness of this location, and the artistically dilapidated boards of the bridge (now it has been replaced with new ones) and the wooden house conveyed the atmosphere of comfort
Printed on Epson Fine art cotton smooth bright paper, cotton-based archival paper
