Vibrant teal blue abstract landscape image of the tiny islands of Rona, Raasay and Eilean Fladday. They sit between the Isle of Skye and Applecross on the mainland. Swirling in mist and outlined only in silhouette they seem magical and full of mystery. This is some of my latest work, I am using special techniques to create the dreamy look and the colours I am using reflect the beautiful teal blue of the water surrounding the islands.

Island Dreams I, II and III work well as a tryptich in the smaller size as well as the larger sizes which make beautiful statement pieces for a room.

I use wonderful Canson Aquarelle paper which has the most fabulous watercolour texture and holds colour for a lifetime. Canson have been making paper for over 450 years and their paper was used by Picasso, Ingres, Miro and Warhol to name but a few. The inks I use are state-of-the-art non fade Epson Ultrachrome K3 with Vivid Magenta.

I am very particular about printing! Unlike many photographers, I print all my own work so that I remain in control of the art from concept to delivery. If you have any questions please get in touch for a chat.
