Original artwork description:

Helga, the beautiful Polish lady of the world, turns and poses an innocuous glance with underlying contumacious rationale.

This painting began with a dark background, followed by highlights in white oil paint without medium. Transparent tints of colour and linseed oil, layers are then glazed over. "Mischtechnik" describes this method, which is reminiscent of the renaissance approach to painting.
