Original artwork description:
"Irish Oak" is a wire tree sculpture of an Irish oak tree, encased in an oak wood turned frame, and secured to the frame in a tinted pouring of Jesmonite plaster mix. The wire tree was created using aluminium wire. The frame was created from a piece of white oak using my wood turning lathe. I then put together a tinted mix of Jesmonite plaster, which I carefully poured into the frame, and placed the wire tree into the centre to set. Once the wire tree was secure in the set plaster, I added some refinement to the tree using silver pen.
The wire tree sculpture is ready to hang.
