I felt inspired to paint this fiddler sitting and playing his fiddle with the beautiful Irish countryside behind him. Ireland is such a romantic country to visit, and this was a romantic sight. The cows in the background add balance to the figure in the foreground, and overall I have used soft harmonious colours to give a romantic dreamy feel to the picture.
This pastel painting has a white mount and a narrow gold frame.
