I based this work on a black and white photograph of Irish McCalla, published in 1952, whose photographer is unknown.
Irish was a soap opera heroine in the 1950s, best known for her role in Sheena Queen of the Jungle (1955 version) and her work as a model for Alberto Vargas, the pin-up artist. It must be said that she had an extraordinary physique for the time.
The photo being taken from an old magazine, I tried, in addition to the colorization, to add a bit of modernity by using details that were more imaginary than real.
