Bright and colourful painting depicting a young woman in the nature setting.
Inspiration behind this work is the oil painting "Alionushka" by famous Russian artist Victor Vasnetsov, even though everything differs from the source of inspiration - style, materials, colour scheme, posture and age of the girl etc.
Yet, the sense of pensiveness and purity that flows from the painting draws its parallel from this much beloved by Russians image that many families hanged on their wall during my childhood.
This is a quality acrylic, painted on paper, perfect for framing. Frame is not included. Signed.
