Original artwork description:

This piece was made by gluing torn pieces of watercolor paper to a matte board with matte medium. Once dried the subject was drawn and then painted with watercolor paints. The watercolor has been sprayed with archival spray varnish so it can be framed without glass or plexi. The torn paper gives it a textured look and adds to the depth of the piece.
