'Intrusive thoughts' is a hand cut photo montage inspired by feelings of anxiety and doubt, questioning one's own mind and the motivations within it.

Whenever I feel the thoughts crowd together in a jostling sea of noise, I escape. The escape usually takes the form of somewhere greener and more open than the city and its monolithic concrete walls, somewhere where I can spool out the insides of my head, like a kite caught in the warm breeze of May.

Hopefully you get a slice of this peace of mind while gazing at the photo montage, a little window into tranquility that hangs upon your wall.

Cut from vintage books, maps, travel guides and magazines, the photo montage sits within a vintage wooden frame (no ikea crap here ;) )
