"Introspective" is one of the main paintings that opened up a new theme for me. As I was working on it I realized how much it felt like I was pouring myself into the painting and others I'd been working on. It felt like a reflection of me onto the canvas and a lot of my work has been feeling this way even though the pieces can look so different. That's when I started to think deeper about my headspace while painting and how it affects the work. Since then, introspection has played a large part in my process.
