This artwork is an emotional exploration of the idea of belonging to something where there is no relationship. I've had times in my life where I feel a belonging to something or a kinship someone without any rational reason, it is this feeling I have painted here. I call this feeling Intricate Belonging. The work is in the style of abstract expressionism.

This artwork is painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and sealed with varnish. The canvas has dimensions 198 cm in width by 107 cm in height. The painting wraps around the sides of the stretcher, so the sides are painted in the same style as the surface. As such it does not need a frame.

The artwork was created in April 2024.
