I spent a lot of time in the woods when I was a child. It was always a place of wonder, mysticism, intrigue, and a hint of danger. I find myself, now and then, trying to depict the essence of the forest and it always come out with a romanticized sheen. However, I love this sheen. This was the space where I used my imagination as a kid to create kingdoms, worlds, and a ecosystem thriving with exotic and unknown elements. These are the woods I would saunter into...searching for glory, and finding beauty.
