Original artwork description:

Walking on the fells is my passion. I was crossing a small narrow bridge and glanced up towards the sun's direction and was met with the bright sparkling multi-coloured reflections of the stream. I did some quick drawings, colour notes and photographs as memory joggers of this moment. I wanted to capture the play of light which is so fleeting in an oil painting.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

Into The Valley is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
