Air filled oil painting, depicting the plunging landscapes of the Olchon Valley in Wales.

This area of Wales, bordering the lush mountains, is full of the drama of steep hills and fresh air. A blue sky allows the varied green tones to sing out, transporting you to the verdant countryside.

Layers of oil paint illustrate the summer sky, with falling slopes of barely growing fields in the background. These give way to gentle pastures in the mid ground, and lush green meadows in the lower foreground. The semi abstract style allows your imagination to transport you to landscapes visited or perhaps adventures to come.

Edges are a clean white, so artwork could be displayed framed or unframed (please see additional photograph).

Strung and ready to hang.

Lizzie Butler is a contemporary British painter.
She has exhibited at Leighton House Museum, Kensington, London and at several London galleries. She has also exhibited internationally, with oil paintings shown in Washington, USA and her etchings exhibited in Japan.
