Original artwork description:

The majority of the landscape and rural work I produce now is primarily due to the fact that I take my young children to these farms and orchards. We all love the environment, the animals, and I particularly love the nostalgia I feel, the recalling of my childhood memories as my children forge their own.

These working farms find it increasingly difficult each year to maintain their livelihood and have incorporated many public attractions and commercial aspect to keep their farms running. I support and applaud their creativity in staying afloat...with urban sprawl and corporate development, especially in our area of Chester Country, PA, it is a very hard task to stay off the wolves...or, metaphorically for this painting, the looming storm.
