Original artwork description:

At the root of all our thoughts, emotions and behaviours is the communication between neurons within our brain. Each colour represents a brainwave and its four simple periodic rhythms; alpha, beta, delta and theta. All pieces are connected between them. Of course, I’m not trying to reproduce waves as you see them on an electroencephalogram. Instead, I wanted to create a journey of the mind, the thoughts and the emotions; a quest into knowing oneself.

Materials used:

Acrylic on heavyweight canvas textured paper
