A separate theme in my art is the sea. I called it "Into the Harbour". It seems to me that, parting the waves and hurrying, the ship is heading home, where it is waiting.
Since I write about my moods, the desire to paint the sea, the sea wave arises after being at sea.
This painting is based on and inspired by Martin Ruzek's work.
It is painted arbitrarily. To be historically correct, I looked for images of frigates and sails in old engravings.
I tried to capture the palette of colours of seawater, from ultramarine to indigo, with flecks of turquoise and sky blue.
The painting is painted on linen canvas. It is framed in a double baguette - the inner part is pink in tone with the sunset, the outer frame is dark blue in tone with the sea.
The painting is ready to hang on the wall.
Maimeri oil paints and auxiliary material Schmincke oil colours Brushes, mastichins.
