Fresh abstracted seascape on 60cm round birch wood panel, with a 2cm wide white, clean painted edge. Protected with satin varnish, it's ready to hang.

My painting process is intuitive where the paintings reveal themselves slowly, layer by layer. Preferring a less is more approach, my paintings are soft blended with a minimal colour palette and strong horizon lines to anchor the piece and take you beyond the horizon.

I aim to create sea/skyscapes that are balanced, have a flow and create a sense of calm, hopefully encouraging you to stop, breathe and contemplate for a few moments. My paintings are not of any particular place, but abstracted memories of the beauty and moods of all the coasts and beaches I've visited and been lucky enough to live near.
