Ezio Ranaldi's spaces are mental places, imagined territories on the borderline between reality and fiction where a theatrical action takes shape. The Italian artist places his characters, mainly women, creating a stage on the borderline between the real and the imaginary, a female body, an erotic scene in an interior with lights. The first sign of this fusion is a mixed technique in which enamels and oils are placed side by side and mixed for a painting composition in which circles, triangles and lights form the background to the female body in a dreamy attitude of abandonment, of lightness. A mental journey that often starts from real journeys with real, beloved people, those shown on the canvas. Seduction is the red thread linking all the works, with the female image becoming an emblem in which a sophisticated and elusive sensualism remains underground and secret.
