Original artwork description:

This painting "Inspired by the bust of Diderot by Houdon" belongs to the series on busts of philosophers.
I chose this quote from Diderot: "The spirit says pretty things and makes only small ones". For the rest, be curious!
This canvas gives an impression of sobriety because it is on a navy blue background. The light is therefore worked there differently. But we find my usual soft shades in the face.
The side of the painting is painted, framing is not required. The work is signed on the front and provided with a certificate of authenticity.
My works are very carefully packaged, a tracking code is provided and they are all insured.
