Original artwork description:

An original pencil drawing by Paul Stowe of..... Inspector Jacques Clouseau.

Clouseau's immense ego, eccentricity, exaggerated French accent, and prominent mustache are all a parody of Hercule Poirot, the fictional Belgian detective created by Agatha Christie. He is portrayed by Peter Sellers in the original series, and also by Alan Arkin in the 1968 film Inspector Clouseau and, in a cameo, by Roger Moore (credited as Turk Thrust II) in the 1983 film Curse of the Pink Panther. In the 2006 reboot and its 2009 sequel, Clouseau is portrayed by Steve Martin

If you are of a certain age (like myself) you will most likely be familiar with Peter Sellers Hilarious version, especially the "Does you Dog Bite" sketch :)

Drawing is on Bristol Board Paper and measures 30cm x 45cm

The drawing is being sold unframed to reduce shipping costs - however I can offer a bespoke framing service as required - just send me a message to discuss.

Turning professional in 2016 Paul has won accolades across the globe, initially exhibiting and selling work in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand he now resides in the centre for contemporary British Art and the Tate Modern Gallery, St. Ives, Cornwall.
From his open studio and commercial gallery in the town he spends hours, weeks and months drawing incredibly detailed images inspired by the plethora of artists and art in the local area.
His work is on permanent display in 'The Stowe Gallery' in St. Ives and with individual and corporate collections across the world.

*Images showing the drawing in a frame and in various room settings are for illustration purposes only.
