This beautiful and uplifting flower painting is done in watercolors, sparkling metal gold pigments and gouache on paper. This painting will change its colors when hit by light! Tulips picked fresh from the garden, made me happy and wanting to paint them in an abstract way - just to catch the idea of a tulip. This painting is going deep inside the fully blossomed tulip....

Since 2016 I have been working a lot with Gouache and watercolors because it gives paintings a lightness and airyness I like very much. The colors shine and each layer interacts with the layers underneath. Here, the golden metal pigments will sparkle when hit by light and make the painting come to life.

Shown on the photos mounted in different variations with matte to be put in a 50x50 cm frame, the part of the painting seen with the mat is 29x29 cm. Comes signed on the back, with certificate of authenticity, without frame or matte. If you want a signed and titled mat, too, please contact me BEFORE shipping!
