This is the second piece in my series of horse drawings/paintings. It has been created with soft pastels on sugar paper. In this piece I have kept the lines and shading soft and natural; mimicking the nature of these animals.
I was inspired to create this drawing after hearing about the cruel mass slaughter of 4000 ex-racehorses last month.

This pastel painting captures the graceful essence of two magnificent horses in stunning detail. With delicate strokes of white and brown, the horses' powerful yet gentle spirits come alive on the canvas. The white horse exudes an aura of elegance, its mane flowing along its neck like silk while the brown horse emanates strength and vitality. Their expressive eyes seem to convey a bond that transcends words, evoking a sense of harmony and companionship. The interplay of light and dark adds depth and dimension to the artwork, imbuing it with a sense of timeless beauty and capturing the essence of these majestic creatures.
