No matter how old a person is, that same “inner child” remains inside who needs love, approval, and protection. When something unusual, dangerous or frightening happens, sometimes everybody feels small and insignificant in the face of this world. However, there is also an "inner adult" who can console, instruct, and protect. Dasha's painting is about the state of the inner child who looks at the world with an unprotected, open look, expecting only the good, but what she will get is another story
