Goedeke began to work on these paintings during a personal health crisis when she was in hospital: She visualizes colorful patterns of energy inside her own body which are constructive, positive and support any process of healing and transformation into well-being.
Wings and feathers, painted in an abstract way, are elements which the artist used also in earlier works, but in this series Goedeke focuses now on a variety of ethereal wings, inspired by birds, butterflies and her creative imagination.
