Oil painting of the view of the city at dusk from my window. It is that bewitching hour when birds take flight back to their nests, when the day workers go home, lights spark in windows and night drops over the payig fields and the streets. I used a pallette of red, purple and grey. I painted quickly because the light was changing - over several evenings. There is a feeling of transformation in the air and in this work.
