Dear buyers, please note!!!
This painting is now on display in my solo exhibition and will be available for purchase and shipping after November 5, 2023.
Original Chinese Brush Painting by Ilana Shechter.
This artwork is a spontaneous style of Chinese Ink Painting.
The chrysanthemum, together with the plum blossom, orchid, and bamboo, have been regarded as the four symbols of noble characters by Chinese scholars since ancient times. Chrysanthemum, in particular, has many meanings.
Chrysanthemums symbolize a long and happy life.
The chrysanthemum blooms in the cold autumn air and foretells the coming of winter, which symbolizes the virtue to withstand all adversities.
The painting has two red traditional Chinese seals, one of them means "Happy," and the other is a seal with the artist's name.
This painting was hand-painted using traditional Chinese tools and materials: Chinese black ink and Chinese mineral paints on special rice Xuan paper.
Size: 69 х 34.5 cm, 27.2 x 13.6 inches (unframed).
This artwork is sold unframed.
Recommended hanging on the wall in a white or black frame with passe-partout.
The colors of the original art may vary slightly from the display on computer monitors or mobile screens due to different screen resolutions/settings.
The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
