Inimitable Iris - Original Watercolour - UK Artist

This isolated iris floret is painted simply and with immediacy - allowing the watercolour to flow from those purple petals into the strong green stalks. I aimed for minimal brushstrokes - letting the overall gorgeous iris outline carry the image.

This original iris watercolour has the Fabriano Artistico paper watermark visible all down the left hand side. You can chose to cover that area with your mount or leave it visible (Personally I love seeing these marks!).

Also - as you will see in the video - there are some watercolour studies on the back of a goose foot but that will not be visible at all once framed!

I will package your flower painting carefully with a stiff backing to ensure it gets to you in tip top condition.
