With "Infinite Moments" I tried to capture the essence of Spring's awakening and let it serve as a reminder to embrace the present moment and accept it for what it is. I sought to express the infinite possibilities that exist within each moment and encourage us to savor life's fleeting beauty. By cultivating a sense of presence and mindfulness, we can deepen our appreciation for the simple joys in life and find greater meaning in our daily experiences.

"The Shape of Time" was inspired by the essence of Spring's awakening and how it can symbolize a spiritual awakening. It was influenced by the concept of living mindfully in the present moment and accepting it as it is. By embracing the ever-changing nature of life and recognizing the beauty in impermanence, we can cultivate a deeper appreciation for the present and find peace in the midst of chaos. The painting serves as a poignant reminder to stay present, live mindfully, and trust in the unfolding of time.

Infinite Moments and The Shape of Time are companion paintings. They can be displayed together or separately. Both paintings feature controlled pouring, brushwork, sponging, and collage with gold leaf, along with some experimental techniques I tried with just these two paintings.
