The painting captures the duality of light and darkness with impressive intensity. The contrasting textures and colors create a dramatic tension that runs throughout the work. A palette of deep blacks, fiery reds and yellows and accents of copper and gold lend the painting a mystical depth. The textured surface, characterized by layered and incised elements, creates a moving dynamic that unfolds a deep emotional impact.
