Original artwork description:

The unicorn is a rare creature that has been described since ancient times as an animal with a single large, pointed, spiral horn protruding from its forehead. The unicorn was depicted on ancient seals of the Indus Valley Civilization and was mentioned by the ancient Greeks by various authors.
The Bible also describes an animal, the re'em, which is translated in some versions as the unicorn.

In European folklore, the unicorn is often depicted as a white horse- or goat-like animal with a long horn, cloven hooves, and sometimes a goatee. In the Middle Ages and Renaissance, it was commonly described as an extremely wild forest creature, a symbol of purity and grace that could only be captured by a virgin.

And as might have noticed - it works!
