Original artwork description:

Inspired by photographs I took of some deteriorating sea defenses on the North Wales coast, I set out to create a painting with a sense of continual flow.
The shapes reminded me of Eduardo Chillida's 'Wind Combs' sculpture, unforgivingly strong and dynamic.
I allowed the paint to flow right across the surface of the painting with a sense of urgency and inevitability so the paint flow has no beginning and no end. An immeasurable flood.

Materials used:

acrylic paint, toner, oil stick
