Signs, traces found on the shoreline, probably of a doily, struck me and immediately reminded me of Indra's net, the Indian symbol of the connection between all things. For the first time I had read about this archetype in the beautiful book "The Tao of physics" by Capra where a profound parallelism was maintained between science and mysticism. So I wanted to detect these graphic elements by directly making a cast before the high tide took them away. I then brought the bas-relief to the studio and painted it with shades of blue, the color of spirituality par excellence.
polyurethane, epoxy resin, sand, table, acrylics
