Original artwork description:

Typically my paintings feature live subjects, but I decided to create a series of abstract seascapes. I love being beside the sea, as so many do, and find a sense of calm in the line that cuts across the horizon and the beautiful colours and patterns we see both above and below that line. Here I allowed the paint to merge and flow in that special way that only watercolour does, to create moody and beautiful sea and landscapes like these.
