This was drawn “en plein air” from a second position at the Tamsui riverside near ZhuWei. The previous drawings were done from under a shady tree as the sun was very bright and hot, but as it started to go down I moved out into the open. I like this angle because you can face up the river towards Tamsui and see the reflected colours on the river. As you can see the tide was incoming and surrounding the boats that were previously moored on the dry mangrove riverbed.
