I love the movement of waves, which is why on holiday one year I was perched on a rock at Nolton Haven in Pembrokeshire, taking photographs of the waves as the tide came in. One of the photographs I took resulted in this painting. I wanted to capture the complex movement of water as the waves splashed against the rocks.
