I used to love tv programme wonder years. It was an escape. When I walked out door I saw a south London council estate and this was a typical scene I grew up in. Not terrible just very different to wonder years. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
