Original watercolour and fine liner painting, the idea behind the piece is that the young ballerina is waiting nervously in the wings - as an ex dancer I know this feeling well and it is sheer exhilaration. I´ve mixed the 2D and 3D effects to create the difference between her physical being and emotion from the superficial of the tutu.
